In this issue:
Over the past few weeks, we've spent some time in Romans 12. In the passages we've covered, we see God calling us to live a life of genuine love and to reject evil, walking with a spiritual resilience brought about through the work of the Holy Spirit in us as He transforms and renews us even as we offer ourselves as a "living sacrifice" to the Lord. We are called to humble ourselves, bless our persecutors, and trust God to be the arbiter of justice in all things, and to overcome evil with good.
Our last section talks about our relationships with one another as part of a greater whole; that is, the Church, the body of Christ. We all struggle in different ways and are gifted in different areas. Some of these giftings may appear to be more or less important or desirable than others, and that perception may lead us to become either puffed up or discouraged at the role God has called us to. Our passage today reminds us that our giftings are not our own to begin with, but God's! God has given us the tools that he intends us to use for his glory and the health of the Church. Each is vital, and we are urged with equal weight to put those gifts to use. *At the bottom of our newsletter today is the Romans 12:3-8 scripture.
Men, 2nd Wednesday is Coming! || 2/11/26 || 6:30 – 7:35 AM || The Springs Fireside Room
Pornography is a struggle many men face, affecting our hearts, our relationship with the Lord, and the people around us. Men, join us for 2nd Wednesday as we take an honest and courageous look at one of the greatest threats to living as disciples of Jesus. This month, we’ll be both encouraged and challenged as we talk openly about the battle, the cost, and—most importantly—the hope we have in Christ. Jesus meets us in the struggle through His Word, His grace, His people and His power to bring freedom and healing to our souls. This is a chance to gather with other men who desire to follow Jesus with integrity, humility, and courage. Wednesday, February 11th at 6:30 AM — coffee provided. Come ready to be encouraged, challenged, and strengthened together.

*From Romans 12:3-8 (ESV):
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
