We are nearing the end of our study in Book Four of the Psalms, and I've especially enjoyed the journey this summer. We still have two Sundays left! Here's a small preview of where we'll be this week.

May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
may the Lord rejoice in his works,
who looks on the earth and it trembles,
who touches the mountains and they smoke!
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being.
May my meditation be pleasing to him,
for I rejoice in the Lord.
Summer in the Psalms Sunday Morning Class || 8/30 || 10:30 AM || Rm 120/122
Over the summer our church family has been working our way through the fourth section of the Psalms by using a summer reading plan & through our weekly sermons. This Sunday, August 30th at 10:30 AM is our last Summer in the Psalms class. We will discuss both the Psalms from the previous weeks readings as well as process the sermon from the 9:00 AM service. This class is led by Pastors & Elders. Whether you’re new to The Springs or have been here a while, this is a great place for discussion, growth & fellowship. We hope you’ll stop by!
2026-27 Men's 2nd Wednesday Preview || 9/9 || 6:30 - 7:35 AM || The Springs Fireside Room
Are you living out the best of what God intended for us as men? We can all agree the world needs men to live out what God designed for us to be, but all fall short in this in various ways. Join us for Men's 2nd Wednesdays this year, starting September 9th at 6:30am in the Fireside Room as we dive into Brant Hansen's insightful book, "The Men We Need: God's Purpose for the Manly Man, the Avid Indoorsman, or Any Man Willing to Show Up". Set your alarm and join us for this time of learning and mutual sharpening to be more of the men we need!

Children's Ministry Family Connect || 9/13 || After 2nd Service || Worship Center
Parents of children from birth-4th grade are invited to hear about the upcoming year in Children’s Ministry. We'll be sharing some things we’re excited about this coming year as we work to create positive, consistent classroom environments where kids will receive Gospel care and learn about following Jesus one step at a time.
Men & Boys Cornhole Tournament || 9/19 || 5:00 PM || The Springs
MEN AND BOYS, it is nearly time for our Men’s Ministry Cornhole Tournament! Hope you’ve had plenty of backyard practice this summer because it’s time for the big leagues and a chance to take home the crown this year! The tournament will be on Saturday, September 19th starting at 5pm on the green space here at The Springs! Any man or boy is welcome to sign up to compete. You can sign up with a partner or we can help pair you up to form a team, and we'll have a Men's team only bracket, as well as an Adult & Boy team bracket. Consider inviting a friend to join us too, it’s a great way to get introduced to our church! There is no cost to compete, but if you'd like, you can give a donation to help with costs at the event. We will award a prize to the first place duo, and of course will have plenty of food as well - burgers, hot dogs, chips, and soda, and don't forget to bring a lawn chair!

Baptism is an important "next step" in the life of every believer. We will be celebrating baptism in our worship services on September 20th. If you have yet to be baptized and want to learn more, you can start by visiting thesprings.church/baptism. You can also sign up in the lobby or contact us at office@thesprings.church letting us know about your potential interest.
Women's Retreat || 10/16 - 10/18 || Sky Ranch Cave Springs
All ladies 16 & up are invited to join us October 16th (Friday evening) to October 18th (Sunday morning) for a weekend away in Oklahoma filled with worship, teaching, and all the fun things!! We are super excited to have Emma Harms joining us as our guest speaker, who will lead us in a deep dive into the EFCA Statement of Faith. The participant cost is $120.00, covering a 2-night stay and all meals. You can submit payments online through the registration form or submit cash or check to the office in a labeled envelope.
