Be sure to join us as we continue our journey through Book 4 of the Psalms! This week, we'll be spending time in Psalm 102. If you haven't picked one up already, don't forget that we have Summer In The Psalms bible reading bookmarks available in the church lobby! It's a great tool to help if you like reading ahead or reflecting on where we've been in our study so far. For today, here's a passage we'll be looking at on Sunday.
Psalm 102:18-22 (ESV): Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord: that he looked down from his holy height; from heaven the Lord looked at the earth, to hear the groans of the prisoners, to set free those who were doomed to die, that they may declare in Zion the name of the Lord, and in Jerusalem his praise, when peoples gather together, and kingdoms, to worship the Lord.
Pray First || 8/2 || 8:15 - 8:45 AM || The Springs Room 124
Come pray with us this Sunday, August 2nd! “Pray First” is a once-a-month prayer rally for our entire church family. We’ll pray from 8:15 - 8:45 AM on the first Sunday morning of each month in Room 124. Not only will this start our Sunday morning off right, but this will be a regular declaration to the Lord that The Springs Church is dependent on Him for all things! Adults, youth, kids…let’s all join together and Pray First.
Summer in the Psalms - God's Playlist
Did you know that the Psalms are actually divided into five books? Now through August 30th, The Springs will be reading through the fourth book of the Psalms, which includes chapters 90-106. This initiative will be a great way to spend some daily time in the Word and will be a great study for new to seasoned believers alike. We are also excited to spend time in the same book together as a congregation! Bookmarks for the summer reading plan are available in the Lobby!
Summer in the Psalms Sunday Morning Class || Now - 8/30 || 10:30 AM || Rm 120/122
Over the summer our church family will be working our way through the fourth section of the Psalms by using a summer reading plan & through our weekly sermons. To enrich our experience in the Psalms we are providing a 8 week discussion based class through August 30th at 10:30 AM. The focus of this time will be to discuss both the Psalms from the previous weeks readings as well as process the sermon from the 9:00 AM service. This class will be led by Pastors & Elders. Whether you’re new to The Springs or have been here a while, this is a great place for discussion, growth & fellowship. We hope you’ll stop by!
Men, 2nd Wednesday is Coming! || 8/12 || 6:30 - 7:35 AM || The Springs Fireside Room
Change is easy, right? If we're honest, many of us can have a tough time with change and this is true for those God has entrusted us to care for as men. This month, at our August edition of Men's 2nd Wednesday, Pastor Trent will lead us in exploring together what it looks like for us as men to lead well through seasons of change, and shoulder that burden for those around us. We hope you'll join us!
Summer Splash || 8/16 || 6:30 PM
Join us at the Nixa Community Center (701 N. Taylor Way, Nixa, MO 65714). Come enjoy light snacks, fellowship and pool time. We are also excited for our fifth annual Belly-Flop Contest and a new Diving World Cup Contest! You won't want to miss this night! This is a great event to invite a friend and/or someone who is new the The Springs.
Ladies, join us for Gather & Give: A Taste of the Nations || 8/22 || 5:00 PM || The Springs Church
Ladies, you are invited to join us for a progressive style dinner. We will be dining on food and drink from other countries we support through missions. Take a trip through Turkey, Panama, Hungary and Vietnam. Each country will either feature a drink, appetizer, entree or dessert. There is a cost of $10 per person. Sign up at the sign-up table in the Lobby.

All of our GROUPS and MINISTRIES will be kicking off in September! Look for fall brochures and calendars to come out soon.
Realm Account & Directory
Realm is an online tool we use to help update and stay connected with our congregation via our newsletter, announcements, signups for certain events, digital directory and more. When we first joined Realm, we helped walk much of our congregation through the process of getting connected. Since that time, we've had many new families join the church, and questions from many about services that are available in Realm.
If you're a member or regular attender and don't currently have a realm account, an invitation email was sent to your inbox. If you didn't receive an email or need help getting connected, we're happy to help!
Once you get connected, you can update your information and settings, add a photo for your directory listing, and access the directory, newsletter, signups for certain events, and more. To make it one step easier to add your picture to Realm, we are planning to schedule a few Sunday mornings where one of our members will be available to take your picture. Keep an eye on the newsletter for more details!
