Before we share this week's news, we want to recognize that today marks this year's National Day of Prayer- a day to remind us to pray for our nation, our leaders, our families, and more. As you spend time in prayer today, please consider praying specifically for those in authority and those with influence in our culture. Pray that they would be blessed and that they would seek God's will as they submit to Him and that God would raise up leaders that follow Christ. Pray First || 5/3 || The Springs Room 124
Come pray with us this Sunday, May 3rd! “Pray First” is a once-a-month prayer rally for our entire church family. We’ll pray from 8:15 - 8:45 AM on the first Sunday morning of each month in Room 124. Not only will this start our Sunday morning off right, but this will be a regular declaration to the Lord that The Springs Church is dependent on Him for all things! Adults, youth, kids…let’s all join together and Pray First.
Recognition of High School Graduates || 5/3/26
It's graduation season, and this Sunday, May 3rd we are looking forward to recognizing our amazing 2026 High School graduates from The Springs! We will take a few moments in both services to recognize & pray, and there will also be a "meet & greet" time from 10:10 - 10:30 AM in the lobby to allow for the church to say hello and offer them congratulations!
Pickleball - Open Play and Learn How to Play || 5/5/26 || 4:30 - 6:00 PM for Families AND 6:00 - 7:30 PM for 16 and older || The Springs Church Gym (Upstairs)
Feel free to stop by for Pickleball Open Gym time for anyone who wants to play or wants to learn how to play. The Springs has equipment for our two courts, but feel free to bring your own!
Ladies, join us for Crafternoons! || 5/9/26 || 1:00 - 4:00 PM || The Porch at The Springs
Crafternoons is an open house time for fellowship where women can bring their own craft (BYOC) and chat. Women can bring crafts or other projects to work on.
We will meet in The Porch (the Women's Ministry Room) every month on the 2nd Saturday. It's a come as you want, leave as you need from 1:00 - 4:00 PM.
Men, 2nd Wednesday is Coming! || 5/13/26 || 6:30 – 7:35 AM || The Springs Fireside Room
Men - Please join us again on May 13th at 6:30 AM for another 2nd Wednesday Discussion. This month, Jesse Chapman will lead us as we consider the topic of Community - how it relates to discipleship, and the importance of living life as a band of brothers. Hope to see you there!
Men's Holy Hold'em || 5/15/26 || 6:00 PM || The Springs Room 124
Men - You are Invited to the 3rd Annual Holy Hold'em! Whether you've played plenty of Texas Hold'em or playing poker is new to you, we hope you'll come to enjoy good laughs, great snacks, and awesome fellowship with brothers in Christ. We’ll open with prayer, keep it lighthearted, and enjoy some Texas Hold 'Em together - we'll see who can win the tournament this time around!
Our hope is for this to be a night to not just play poker but deepen friendship, so feel free to bring someone along - a buddy, a neighbor, a coworker, family member, whoever God leads you to invite! You can sign up at the men's table in the lobby, through our Realm Online Sign Up, or by contacting Pastor Trent (trent@thesprings.church). We hope to see you at the tournament!
FBC (Family Bible Camp) || 6/16 - 6/18 || 6:00 - 8:00 PM
June 16 - 18: Suit up for FBC (Family Bible Camp) in the evenings (6:00 - 8:00 PM), where we will learn about putting on God's armor and being "Knights of the Kingdom." Join us for 3 nights of VBS-like fun, family discipleship, and outreach as we explore Ephesians 6:11-18 and become ready for battle. Registration for Infants-4th grade will open on May 17, but first, we need your help! Please see the FBC table in the lobby to find your place to serve in the kingdom!
