Happy Thursday, Springs family! We have a big weekend coming up in the life of The Springs! Our Flavors of Fall event is this weekend, so be sure to read about the ways you can get involved below. We can't wait to hangout with you this Sunday!

Ladies, join us for Crafternoons! || 10/11/25 || 1:00 - 4:00 PM || The Porch at The Springs
Crafternoons is an open house time for fellowship where women can bring their own craft (BYOC) and chat. Women can bring crafts or other projects to work on.
We will meet in The Porch (the Women's Ministry Room) every month on the 2nd Saturday. It's a come as you want, leave as you need from 1:00 - 4:00 PM.

Panama Christmas Project || Through October 12th
The Panama Christmas Project is an opportunity for you to share the love of Jesus to children in Panama. Missionaries, Frank & Silvia Saavedra will use these funds to distribute gift bags to children in Panama through local churches, so that the gospel of Jesus can be shared with them. Please, pray for this amazing work and consider how God may lead you in giving towards this great project.
Cash and checks can be dropped off in the drop boxes in the worship center and lobby via the Panama Christmas Project envelopes.
Or, you can give online at www.thesprings.church/give. Be sure to select Panama Christmas Project in the fund dropdown.
Please, submit your donations by October 12th!

Flavors of Fall || 10/12/25 || 4:30 - 7:00 PM
What is "Flavors of Fall?"...a free outdoor fall festival and outreach event! It's an evening to gather as a church family and an opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors. Everyone is invited! This will be a fun night of fall fellowship on October 12th from 4:30 - 7:00 PM at The Springs' green space and parking lot. We will be having an evening of autumn-themed games, activities for all ages, and of course plenty of your favorite fall foods. Start thinking about friends you could invite to come as well! There are many ways that you can serve: please see the sign-ups at the Flavors of Fall table in the lobby to find out how you can be a part of this great evening. Can't wait to see you there!

Veteran's Coming Home Lunch || 10/15/25
We are in need of volunteers to serve at the luncheon. They are also in need of fall clothing and shoes. Please bring donations to the church by Sunday, October 12th. You can drop donations off in the cabinet located next to the Local Missions counter, by the Worship Center doors.

Men in Action - Workday || 10/18/25 || 8:00 AM || The Springs
Men of The Springs!

We’re inviting you to join us for a morning of meaningful service on Saturday, October 18th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM as we steward the space God has given us. Projects include touch-up painting in the lobby and outdoor clean-up—hands-on work that makes a real difference. As Scripture reminds us: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.” —1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)
Men are welcome to bring their children who are old enough to work alongside them.
If you’re able to serve please can contact Matt at matt@thesprings.com, or sign-up at the special events table by Sunday, October 12th.
Let’s serve with glad hearts and strong hands—see you there!

Housemoot at The Springs || 10/24 & 10/25 || The Springs Church
You're invited to a weekend of fellowship, creativity and reflection (and yummy food) at Housemoot at The Springs, happening Friday and Saturday, October 24th-25th.
What is a "Housemoot"? Housemoot is a localized version of Hutchmoot, which is an annual weekend conference hosted by the Rabbit Room welcoming writers, musicians, artists and thinkers who believe that creativity is an essential practice of living life in the image of our Creator. While Hutchmoot itself takes place in Nashville, Housemoot allows groups from anywhere to participate in the discussion, music, meals and fellowship of the conference in their own communities.
During Housemoot, you can expect to hear from great speakers on topics relating to our walk with Christ and study of the Word, and the ways in which both our artistic expression and experiencing of the arts are inseparably linked to our Creator. Between sessions, we will enjoy music, liturgies, meals and conversation!
The keynote speakers this year are Tim Mackie and Jon Collins, co-founders of The Bible Project. Their remote session will be part of Friday evening's events, so even if you can't make it Saturday, we'd love for you to join us for this one!
What does it cost? Housemoot at The Springs is FREE! There are a few areas where you can "do your bit" (perhaps bringing something to share during our mealtimes) but you need not bring anything but yourself.
Will there be childcare? We will not have anyone here to care for kids, but the event is family friendly. If you have older children you believe would gain from the experience, they are absolutely welcome to join you at the event!
How do I find out more and sign up? Since we'll be having meals together, it's important for us to know who's planning to attend! To RSVP and for more information on the event, schedule and more, contact Mary Griffin [(417) 300-0972] or Pastor Rob [rob@thesprings.church or (417) 531-1616].
