Family Ministry Programming Updates

• Family Worship Sunday || 8/31
  Due to the Labor Day weekend, Sunday, August 31st will be a Family Worship Sunday. We will not be having our regular K - 12 programming, but we are excited to welcome the K - 12th graders into our worship service this week. Youth will not meet on Sunday morning, but will still meet on Wednesday night. (Infants through Preschool will still be provided during both services.)
• Fall Children's Ministry Programming Begins || 9/7

• 9:00 AM Nursery - Preschool classes & K - 4th Classes (K - 4th are dismissed to their classes after music worship in main worship service) *Please check-in your child at the downstairs check-in areas and then go in to the Worship Center for the musical portion of our worship service. After that, K - 4th grade children will be dismissed to meet their teachers at the back of the worship center to go to their classrooms for their time of teaching.
• 10:30 AM Nursery - Preschool classes & K - 4th Kid's Church (teachers will transfer kids from their classes to Kid's Church) *Please pick up your child after the service in our Elementary wing. 5th & 6th Grade will meet for their teaching time in Room 116.
• Generational Worship Time: We are excited to have our K - 4th grade children worship musically with us in our first service! At The Springs, we value worshiping together as all generations! We especially love that children can see the bigger picture of the body of believers they are a part of.

Labor Day || 9/1
The Springs Office office will closed in leu of Labor Day. We'll be back and ready to serve you on Tuesday! For any immediate pastoral needs please find contact information listed below.

Men's Holy Hold'em || 9/6 || 4:30 PM || The Springs Room 124
Men - You are Invited to the 2nd Annual Holy Hold'em! Whether you're a Texas Hold'em pro or just know how to spell “flush,” come enjoy good laughs, good snacks, and good fellowship with brothers in Christ. We’ll open with prayer, keep it lighthearted, and play some hands that—Lord willing—don’t test our sanctification.

• Where: The Springs Church - Room 124
• When: September 6th at 4:30 PM
• Buy-in: A suggested donation of $20 (to help cover snacks/prizes...not for gambling!)
• Prizes: Bragging rights and stuff to take home

Since this isn’t just cards—it’s about connection feel free to bring a buddy, a neighbor, a coworker, or that guy you’ve been meaning to hang out with. This is the perfect night to invite someone in, build brotherhood, and maybe even bluff your way to victory (in love, of course). We hope to see you at the tournament and remember: iron sharpens iron—but sometimes, it calls your bluff :).

Men - You’re Invited to 2nd Wednesday || 9/10 || 6:30 AM || The Springs
A Gathering for Men Seeking to Follow Jesus in Everyday Life
When: 2nd Wednesday of each month, beginning September 10th
Where: The Springs Church - Fireside Room
Time: 6:30 - 7:30 AM
Our purpose at 2nd Wednesday is simple but vital: To provide a space where men can come together to build friendships and grow as disciples of Jesus—men who face real-world challenges and desire to walk faithfully with Christ in the middle of them.
Last year, we focused on recognizing the spiritual battles we all face. This year, we want to take the next step: to fight the Battle by Living as Disciples of Jesus Christ. Each month, we’ll explore what it truly means to follow Jesus in our everyday lives—at work, at home, in our communities, and in our hearts. This isn’t just about more information. It’s about transformation. Living intentionally. Living surrendered. Living equipped. If you’re a man who wants to grow in your faith, be sharpened by other men, and live with more purpose and clarity as a disciple of Jesus—this is for you. Baptisms || 9/21
Baptism is an important "next step" in the life of every believer. We will be celebrating baptism in our worship services on September 21st. If you have yet to be baptized and want to learn more, you can start by visiting thesprings.church.
