This has been a couple of great weeks in the life of The Springs! We’ve seen the launch of several classes and groups, we started a new series in Romans, we gathered for a night of worship, some of us have served in a couple of local ministry events, and more! It’s great to be a part of what God is doing in our church. We look forward to what He has for us in the future. Be sure to read about some of the opportunities we have coming up!

Sunday Morning Groups || Happening NOW!
The kick-off is over but it's not too late to connect. Here are a couple of electives we would like to encourage you to consider:

  • Evangelism in Exile - led by Mark Logan
    The days of cultural Christianity are fading. It's time to rethink normal. Suffering and exclusion are normal in a believer's life. This was certainly Jesus's experience, and it's the experience of countless Christians around the world today. Come and join us on Sunday at 9:00 as we study 1 Peter; a letter that wants to redefine our expectations and reinvigorate our hope. Whether we're in positions of power or weakness, influence or marginalization, all of us are called to live and witness as exiles in a world that's not our home. This is our mission. This is our opportunity. A church in exile doesn't have to be a church in retreat.
  • God Space - led by Pastor Tom (won't be meeting September 25th)
    A friend, co-worker, family member, or someone you just met is talking—and you sense God nudging you to say something. But what do you say? What don’t you say? How can you bring God into the conversation without shutting it down?
    Welcome to God Space, where the Holy Spirit can do amazing things through everyday conversations. Where honesty and transparency allow for discovery and deep connection. Where lives are challenged and changed. Come and join us on Sunday at 9:00 as we learn practical skills that will help us take steps to grow as witnesses for Christ in our everyday lives.

Women’s Patisserie, Pie and Painting || 10/1 || 6:30 PM
Join us in the Women's Ministry Room for a night of fun and fellowship! Women, bring a pie or pastry and join us in being lead, step-by-step, through painting your own masterpiece. Please bring $5 to cover the coast of supplies. Sign-up in the Lobby.

Women's Bible Study || 10/2 || 4 PM
Ladies, join us Sundays at 4 PM starting October 2nd for a five-week study through Loveology by John Mark Comer. Comer addresses what the scriptures have to say about sexuality, romance, singleness, and what it means to be male and female. This is a great study for any woman whether single, dating, or married. Cost of the study guide is $11 and you can sign-up in the Lobby. For more information contact Donnae Grimm: 417-827-1245.

Pickle Ball
Love Jesus? Love Pickle-Ball? Looking to connect the two? God has blessed us to remodel our gym and it's now a great place for Pickle-Ball! This is a wonderful sport for relationships and connections for all ages. We are looking for individuals who might feel led to donate towards getting some equipment. Here are the links to some PB equipment we're considering:

If you are interested please contact Pastor Trent to see how you can support this potential ministry opportunity: Also, let us know if you would ever like to help organize a PB outreach event!
