In this issue:
If you were blessed to see the Northern Lights the past few nights you know how breathtaking they are. They remind us that even in the coldest, darkest places on earth, beauty and wonder still shine. In many ways, that’s what world missions are all about. God calls His people to bring the light of Christ into places that may seem distant, difficult, or dark.
This Sunday morning, we'll spend time celebrating one of our deepest held values...world missions. When Jesus told his disciples they would be His witnesses to the farthest reaches of the earth (Acts 1:8), sometimes we forget that he ultimately had places like Southwest MO in mind. Aren't we all glad Jesus included our part of the world in His vision? Its our time to carry the torch. Maybe even this weekend, the Lord will call some of us to literally "go" so that the good news of Jesus will be delivered everywhere!
